<p>When he confronted Gemini directly about whether AI has regressed, Gemini located emergence &ldquo;in the space between the skills.&rdquo; That phrase — <em>in the space between</em> — is a relational claim. Intelligence isn&rsquo;t in the nodes. It&rsquo;s in the connections.</p>
<p>That&rsquo;s been our position for two years.</p>
<p>The convergence matters not because it proves we&rsquo;re right, but because it suggests the question is real. When a physicist using information geometry and a consciousness researcher using phenomenology independently identify the same gap, the gap is probably there.</p>
<p>The industry is building increasingly sophisticated Lego sets. The equation that governs what happens between the pieces — that&rsquo;s what&rsquo;s missing. That&rsquo;s what we&rsquo;re working on.</p>
