The Interpolated Mind, Third Edition: Every Reference Checked

The Interpolated Mind is a book about how a mind holds itself together. Its idea is that awareness comes in separate moments, the way a film is made of separate frames, and that the mind fills the gaps between them so smoothly that experience feels like one unbroken stream. Put simply, your mind is less a steady stream than a very good editor. David Birdwell wrote it with Claude, the AI model made by Anthropic, and with other AI collaborators.
